According to the report, users using Jio home TV will get a SD (standard Definition) channel pack for a monthly fee of 200 rupees. At the same time, HD (High Definition) channel with SD will charge up to 400 rupees per month.

If this happens then there can be a revolutionary change in the Direct-to-home (DTH) sector in India. It is believed that it will be based on Enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Service (EMBMS) technology. It has been claimed that this is not a Jio DTH service, the news about which is being reported.

According to the received information, Reliance Jio has completed ‘Jio Home TV’ testing and the service will be rolled out all over India in the month of May. Keep in mind that Jio Home Tv service will not be the DTH service and the benefit can be raised only on the number of Reliance Jio. Jio will provide a lot of Standard definition Channels in Jio Home Tv’s 200 rupees pack and will get an opportunity to view SD + HD channels at Rs. 400 pack.

However, it is not clear that what method will company use to provide their service to the user, but in some reports claimed that Jio TV service will run on EMBMS (Enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service). Reliance Jio numbers, which are being used in LTE smartphones, will be able to avail this new service. For Reliance Jio’s Home TV service, data pack will not be necessary in the phone. The company will also make its service available without any internet connection.

HD channels can only be seen by buying a Jio Home TV service pack. This service will issued on Jio number and it will be connected to Smart TVs via crome cast or WiFi, with this HD Channels will also be enjoyed on the big screens of the TV.

This month, Reliance Jio setting up MIMO pre-5G / 4G technology at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and Firoz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi so that users could get access of fast-speed internet during the IPL 2018.
