HMD can launch Nokia X 2018 on April 27.
Double curved edges are expected on the display.
Nokia X 2018 has been spotted in advertisement in China mall: The original Nokia X was launched in 2014 when Nokia had Microsoft and most of its devices were running on the Windows platform. The Nokia X of 2014 was the first Nokia-branded smartphone to be operated by Android OS, and the company’s only device was used to run Google’s operating system until the brand was licensed for HMD Global. HMD Global is said to launch a new smartphone on April 27 in an event in China, and the latest report is that the phone will be a new version of Nokia X 2014.
Apparently, an advertisement is being seen in a mall in China, and further reports show that this month on April 27 HMD Global will launch Nokia X 2018 internationally. Advertising on digital sign is partly in English and partly in Chinese script, and it has been mentioned that the phone will be launched on April 27 called Nokia X 2018. The advertisement also shows two phones to create an ‘X’ letter to cross each other.
The original Nokia X 2014 was running on Android 4.1.2 on Jelly Bean operating system, but a heavy skin was shown on top, which was made similar to the Windows Phone OS and any type of Android similarity was effectively removed. The phone did not have the Google Play Store feature, which meant that you could not install apps in Nokia X 2014 phone without paying, which is considered to be the biggest disadvantage of windows phones. The Nokia X 2014 was a budget device, and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play Chipset with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage.
There is no technical information like features and specifications available at this time, but from the pictures seen in leaked ads, double curved edges are expected on the display, and a slightly curved metal rear panel.
