Facebook Launched Video Chat Facility in Messenger Lite: There was a time when only one application was known for video chat whose name was Skype. After the popularity of Skype, Facebook also launched the Video Calling feature. Although initially many complaints were received from the users regarding its video feature, but the frequent updates from Facebook have reduced the user’s complaints. Facebook brought video calling features on WhatsApp, which is Facebook owned Company, and users liked this feature. The quality and connectivity of the video is quite good on the app. After this, Facebook has also added video calling feature on its Light Messenger app.

Many users were unable to use it due to the size and data usage of Facebook messenger. In fact, the size of the Facebook Messenger app is also high and it consumes more data, in such a way that the users whose phones have low RAM and who wants to avoid consumption of more data, Facebook launched the Messenger Lite app but for this there was no video calling feature in the app yet. The video calling feature has been added to this app by the company, after that, users who are now using cheap smartphones and data will be able to take advantage of this facility easily.

The size of the app is 10MB and it can be downloaded for free by visiting the Google Play Store. After this update of Facebook, it is expected that the use of video calling will be used in villages and small towns more quickly than before.

Facebook said in a statement late Wednesday, “Now those who use Messenger Light can enjoy the same rich and meaningful face-to-face conversation, which is available on Facebook’s main Messenger app.”

Facebook said that video calls can also be activated during the audio call. The company said that inclusion of video calls in today’s messaging experience is a necessary and mandatory part of the daily conversation.

The video calling those who use the major Messenger app is quite popular. A total of 17 billion video chats were made on Messenger in 2017, which is two times more than a year ago.
