WhatsApp Will Stop Working On These Smartphones after 31st December 2017

WhatsApp will going to stop their services for many smartphone platforms in the end of 2017. As we know that the WhatsApp is owned by Facebook and their company has confirmed this via their official blog post that WhatsApp will stop working for some platforms like Windows Phone 8.0 and older versions, Blackberry operating system, Blackberry 10 on 31st December 2017. After 31st December 2017 the users of these platforms may not be able to use WhatsApp on their phones.

WhatsApp announced about to stop their service first in 2016 but later company extended its deadline to 30 June 2017. This deadline again updated to 31 December 2017.



Following smartphone platforms would stop supporting WhatsApp at the end of 31st December 2017.

BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 after 31st December 2017.

Windows Phone 8.0 and older after 31st December 2017.

Nokia Symbian S60 after 30th June 2017.

Nokia S40 after 31st December 2018.

Android versions 2.3.7 and older after 1st February 2020.

    please don’t stop this servise in india,because many poor people use old mobile.kindly request you start whats app service in andorid 4.0.2 and above.we are highly obliged.
